7 stepsAbout 9 minutesVerified 2026-07-22

Before you start

  • Verified customer and property
  • Known work type and duration
  • Customer availability

You will finish with

  • One conflict-free visit is linked to the correct work and technician.

Safety and data checks

  • Booking can notify staff or customers depending on settings; verify before final confirmation.
Step-by-step procedure

Complete the task

  1. 1
    Navigate

    Open the Scheduler

Open Scheduler and set the date range that includes the customer’s acceptable days before starting a new booking.

  2. 2
    Select

    Start a visit

Choose the supported New visit or Book work action and select the work type before entering appointment details.

  3. 3
    Enter information

    Select customer and property

Search across customer identifiers, choose the verified customer, and select the exact service property rather than a similarly named address.

  4. 4
    Choose an option

    Link the correct work

Choose the existing ticket, estimate, work order, or service scope when available so the visit does not become disconnected calendar work.

  5. 5
    Choose an option

    Select technician and duration

Choose a qualified technician, realistic duration, and customer-approved slot, then wait for every conflict check to finish.

  6. 6
    Verify

    Resolve every conflict

Read overlaps, travel limits, time off, and availability warnings; change the slot instead of overriding unless the conflict is understood and authorized.

  7. 7
    Verify

    Review before booking

Confirm customer, property, work, technician, timezone, start, duration, notification behaviour, and notes before the final booking action.

Final booking may create calendar events or notifications.

If something does not look right

The expected button or field is not visible.

Confirm the record status, your role, and the selected tab; unavailable actions are often intentionally gated by those conditions.
