Search before creating
Search the customer’s name, company, phone, email, street address, and any monitoring account number before choosing Add Customer.
Expected resultExisting possible matches are visible or the search is clearly empty.

Compare possible matches
Open every plausible match and compare contact details and properties; a different address may belong as another property on the same customer.
- 3Navigate
Open Add Customer
Only after duplicate checks are complete, open Add Customer and keep the verified identity and first service address available beside you.

Enter the shared identity
Enter the customer or company name and verified phone and email exactly as the office should use them across tickets, estimates, and monitoring.
- 5Enter information
Enter the first property
Enter the complete service address, property type, and site contact details; use the customer contact only when it is also correct for this address.
- 6Verify
Review before saving
Re-read spelling, phone, email, address, and duplicate warnings, then create the record only when one customer and one correct property will result.
Saving creates a production customer record.
